Cooking Time: 25 mins Serves: 4-5
Ingredients:
Puran Filling
2 Cups Wheat Flour
2¼ tbsp Oil
Ghee for Spreading (Clarified Butter)
How to make Puran Puri:
Follow the steps to make the chapati dough.
Make a puran ball of about 125 grams and set it aside.
With a rolling pin, roll out the dough about halfway. Then, put the puran ball in the middle, fold the dough over, and pinch out the excess dough.
Pat it in the flour and roll it out slowly; don't press it too hard in one place; otherwise, the stuffing will come out.
Heat a Tawa pan on a medium-low flame. Place the chapati on the pan for a minute or so.
Flip and cook for about a minute, then flip again and press down with a tea cloth or wooden roti chapati press; it will start to puff up.
Flip on the other side and cook until you see brown spots in the picture below.
Once done, please put it on a plate and spread 1 tsp of ghee on top.
Serve hot with valor ringan nu shaak and Kadhi. Yum...
NB: To enjoy the puran puri, spread ½ tbsp of ghee.
