Khajur Ambli Ni Chutney

Preparation and Cooking Time: 60 min.
½ cup Tamarind Seedless ½ cup Dates Seedless ⅛ cup Jaggery Grated 2 cups Water. ½ tsp Coriander-Cumin Powder (Dhana Jeera) ½ tsp Red Chilli powder Salt to taste
Clean and wash the tamarind, put it in a pan with the dates and water.
Bring it to a boil then add the jaggery and simmer it on low flame for 10 minutes.
Cool it slightly and mash with a potato masher, then strain the mixture using a strainer.
Keep the mixture thick so you can add water when needed.
Add the coriander-cumin powder, chilli powder and salt, keep the test bit on sweet and sour, not to salty.

NB: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerated. Will last for 3-4 weeks in the fridge.
