Plain Mogo

Prep time: 5 Mins Cooking time: 45 Mins Serves: 2-3


Ingredients:

500g Mogo Chips (Cassava)

Oil to Deep-fry

Chilli Powder

Salt to taste

1 Lime


Method:

  1. Cook the mogo chips, in boiling water with 1½ tsp salt, until soft. Drain and let it cool for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the oil for deep frying or pre-heat your air fryer.

  2. Deep fry the mogo until light golden brown, drain on kitchen paper towel. Alternatively, air fry for 15 minutes at 200°C.

  • Sprinkle some salt and chilli powder and squeeze lime; enjoy hot!
