1 Cauliflower Head Medium Size (Phool Gobi) ¾ cup Frozen Peas 2 Tomatoes Chopped 3 tbsp Oil 1 Dry Red Chilli ¾ tsp Mustard Seeds ½ tsp Cumin Seeds ¼ tsp Asafoetida (Hing) ¾ tsp Turmeric Powder 1½ tsp Chilli Powder 1½ tbsp Coriander-Cumin Powder (Dhana Jiru) Salt to taste
Cut the cauliflower into florets, wash, drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add the dry chilli, once hot add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafoetida.
Then add the cauliflower florets, turmeric powder and salt, mix well, cook on low heat for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Then add the tomatoes and cook until it’s almost done stirring occasionally.
Now add the peas, chilli powder and coriander-cumin powder, cover with the lid for about 3 minutes, then stir and cook for further 2-3 minutes.
Enjoy hot with roti and dal bhat!
