Ingredients:
750 grams Fresh Green Peas in Pods
2 Big Carrots
4 Potatoes Small Size
1½ tbsp Ginger Paste
1½ tbsp Green Chilli Paste
3 tbsp Oil
1½ tsp Ajwain Seeds (Ajmo)
½ tsp Cumin Seeds
⅛ tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
Method:
Cut the stems of the pea pods, wash and set aside, peel the carrots and potatoes, cut the carrots about 1½ inch long and the potatoes in quarters and wash them.
Heat the oil in a pressure cooker by adding the ajwain seeds; once hot, add the cumin seeds, ginger, chilli paste, and sauté for a minute.
Add the pea pods, carrots, potatoes, turmeric and salt with 4 tbsp of water, mix well and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles.
Enjoy hot with paratha.
