8 Pieces Shredded Wheat
150g Rich Tea Biscuits
500g Digestive Biscuits
1 cup Almonds
1 cup Cashew Nuts
½ cup Pistachio

Coarsely grind the rice krispies, cornflakes, shredded wheat, biscuits, almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios. Mix them well and keep aside.
Melt the butter on a low heat in a large saucepan, add the golden syrup and sift the cocoa powder in, making sure it has combined well and turn off the heat.
Now add the cereal and biscuits mixture and mix well until everything has combined.
In a 14-inch rectangle tray, line up with a parchment paper and pour the mixture, press it down hard to flatten and smoothen it.
Put a bowl over boiling water and melt the orange flavour chocolate and cooking chocolate.
Once the chocolate has melted, pour it over the burfi.
Place it in the fridge overnight and cut into small squares the next day.
