Garlic Potatoes

1½ kg Baby Potatoes

3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 tbsp Butter

2 tbsp Garlic Paste Coarsely Grind

1½ tbsp Green Chilli Paste Coarsely Grind

1½ tbsp Dried Mix Herbs

1 tsp Black Pepper

½ tsp Salt or to taste

Cheddar Cheese


  1. Wash and boil the potatoes with the skin on in water with 3 tsp of salt until al dente, drain and keep aside.

  2. In a large pan heat the oil and butter on a medium-low heat.

  3. Add the garlic paste, chilli paste, mix herbs, black pepper and salt, sauté for a minute.

  4. Put the potatoes in and mix well, taste if you need to adjust as necessary.

  5. Now put them in a baking tray and bake them in the fan oven on 180 degrees gas mark 5 for half an hour.

  6. Remove from oven and grate the cheese lightly on top and bake for a further 5 minutes.

  • Enjoy on its own or with a roast dinner!

NB: By adding salt in the water is that the potatoes boil, will only have a tiny hint of test inside. Print
