Prep Time: 10 Mins Cook Time: 15 Mins Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 Cups Coarse Wheat Flour 6 tbsp oil ½ tsp salt Ghee for Spreading (Clarified Butter)
Method:
In a large mixing bowl, add the coarse wheat flour, salt and oil, then mix well till the oil has combined.
Add hot water and knead the dough until it becomes a hard dough but not dry, divide the dough into 6-8 equal parts and shape them into round balls.
Roll out each ball into a round shape and add a few press marks or prick it with a fork so that it does not puff up. They should be about 6-7 inch circles and 3-4 millimetre thick.

Heat a tawa pan on a medium flame

Place the bhakri on the tawa pan, cook each side of the bhakri pressing with a wooden roti chapati press until each side turns golden brown.
Once done, put it on a plate and spread about ½ tbsp of ghee on top.

Enjoy hot with tea and athanu or mag ni dal!
