2 Cups Coarse Wheat Flour 6 tbsp oil ½ tsp salt Ghee for Spreading (Clarified Butter)


  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the coarse wheat flour, salt and oil, then mix well till the oil has combined.

  2. Add hot water and knead the dough until it becomes a hard dough but not dry, divide the dough into 6-8 equal parts and shape them into round balls.

  3. Roll out each ball into a round shape and add a few press marks or prick it with a fork so that it does not puff up. They should be about 6-7 inch circles and 3-4 millimetre thick.
